The town of Fever is populated by 150,000 souls. Some of them are human. A lot of them have bodies. But they mostly live, work and play together in simple harmony.
Founded in 1898 as a simple trading post and mining town when heavy reserves of both gold and iron were found in the mountains, Fever escaped the fate of many mining towns when the ore runs out due to its remote location and dense wilderness. Several creatures connected to the Supernatural had found the place, and invited there friends and family.
As the population, supernatural and mortal grew, certain rules and limitations were put in place. The more...carnivorous members of the population were banned from eating the local population. In return, certain wards and protections were set up, allowing the odd creatures to go out in public...for a time...without causing undue concern.

Townhall
The third Townhall of Fever, built on the site of the previous ones after the previous one burned down due to a minor accident with an Elder Fire Elemental, the Townhall houses the offices of the mayor, a cafe, several meeting rooms available to rent and the tourist information centre, all in a building that takes up half a city block and rises three stories off the ground. It's well noted for having a clocktower, although the bell has never rung.
The Library
The public library is a two story building near the beginning of the century as a private residence. The upstairs is impressively up to date, with a fully up to date I.T sweet and access to many public sources online. It is the site of Fever's many records as well, and even contains a small museum about the town. The basement, however, houses the more...esoteric tomes.
The Sheriff's Office
Next to the Town Hall, the Sheriff's office contains the local law enforcement facilities. Up to date, well funded and well equipped, the Office was designed to contain both mortal and supernatural threats. Rumours are that there is an impressive arsenal within the building.
Saint Pantalion's Hospital
Once a plague hospital, St Pantalion's coped with the influx of patients both mortal and not thanks to the legacy of Fever's first mayor, who invested in a somewhat larger building than was needed. Now the hospital, in the centre town, has expanded upwards and become one of the tallest buildings in town.
The Sanctuary Bar
Owned by Valda Simmons, the Sanctuary Bar is one of the more impressive nightclubs, and one of the few to survive more than a few years. Spread over two flaws, the Sanctuary bar also takes in waifs, strays and the desperate.
The Jonestown Mine
An old iron mine, now long played out.
The Old Shafts
The gold mines in the hills. Actually several mines that have, in effect, merged into an unmappable mess that honey combs the hills and beneath the town itself.
